A new casino will be created in 2012 in Montrond-les-bains, a casino with an original concept and a unique one too in France. The casino will work with a Canadian Team to be able to make a casino close to an American but regarding the French legislation. The casino wants to be a model for the rest of the casinos in France. The casino wants also to be the first casino in France regarding the revenue. The casino wants to offer more games than before and it wants to touch all of the generation by proposing game tournament such as Wii tournament for the young generation. The goal of the casino is to touch around 30% of the population of St Etienne, French city in the East of France, instead of 18% at the moment. The council will serve itself as well. At the moment, the council is taxing the casino at 12% and when the new casino will be built, the council will tax it at 15%.
